Ben's dad, Nick, returned to the family farm in March 1982, at the age of 27, to be a 5th generation farmer. The family farm was 110 years old at that time. His 36 year farming career covered among the worst of times, 1980’s Farm Crisis, and among the best of times, 2006-2013 Golden Age.
