Buyer’s Choice Auction

Highest bidder earns privilege to choose which tract(s) to purchase. They can select one or more tracts, in any order, at the price of this highest, competitive bid.

How it works:

  1. Auctioneer begins round of bidding

  2. Incremental bidding is exhausted to the highest price

  3. Highest bidder declares which tract(s) they select

  4. Tracts chosen by the high bidder are removed from the next round(s) of bidding

  5. Auctioneer begins next round of bidding. (This process continues until all tracts are priced)
